Lemonade with Livi: September 2011

You know those moments,

where you can be doing something totally random

and then you stop

and start smiling

because you realize

you are way happier

than you ever intended yourself to be?

Right now is one of those moments.

But I know that life is FULL

of unexpected twists and turns.

And that in an hour, or even

by tonight this wonderful feeling

could be gone.

So right now,

right for this moment,

I'm going to swallow up this feeling

and be completely,

entirely,

and genuinely

happy.

Because,

I am luckier

and happier

than I ever thought possible.

I know I haven't been on this blog much. It's been a crazy few weeks. The musical I'm in, "Little Women" started, I had strep throat, an endoscopy, and had a hurtful encounter with an iv. I've finished school, I've been nannying, and have had a fun time potty training. I went without a letter for about... 4-5 weeks and finally received one last Tuesday... the little elder had no postage! I've visited Clare, I've visited with family and friends, and have been released from nursery to teach sunbeams with my mom.

I think that all of the hectic-ness, the break downs, and the sleepless nights, are what led up to this wonderful feeling today.

It always has to rain before you can see the rainbow.

But the rainbow I see now is VERY vivid, bright, and wonderful. I have been so blessed. I have wonderful parents, siblings, friends, family. I've had this incredible opportunity to be in a show. I get to nanny the 4 most adorable girls. I have the strongest cousin in the world. I don't have a clean room, but I do have a very comfortable bed to sleep in. I live in the most beautiful place to experience fall. I have a best friend serving the Lord in Canada. I have a wonderful ward family, and most importantly, I have the gospel.

I am just happy. :)
